The Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller part # RED44FR comes with everything needed for installation on models with factory trailer brake pre-wiring under the dash. I do not believe there is any such wiring on a 2020 Coachmen Freelander Motorhome therefore you'll need some extra wires and circuit breakers. The Wiring Kit for 2, 4, 6, and 8 Brake Electric Trailer Brake Controllers part # 5506 has this but you many need to extend the wires since it's a longer vehicle. view full answer...
I would be happy to help you. It looks like your 2017 Coachman Freelander 20CB has a total weight of right around 10,000 lbs. I recommend going with the 1,500 lbs item # SSR-121-47 SumoSprings.
The extra capacity of the 1,500 lbs system will help you level out your suspension and compensate for the cabover portion of your motorhome. The SumoSprings will also help balance your rear end out from side to side.
I have linked an installation video below for you to take a look at. view full answer...
Yes, a steering stabilizer would work great on your 2005 Coachmen Freelander that is built on a Ford E-450 Chassis. For that the Roadmaster Reflex kit part # RM47MR would be what you'd want. This is going to make steering and handling much easier. view full answer...
No, having play in the your Roadmaster D-Ring Mount Adapters # RM-035-1 can cause friction which will lead to them failing. You'll want to measure the thickness of the your D-Ring mount and order accordingly. based on the picture you provided it looks like it's 3/4" which would mean you need the Roadmaster D-Ring Mount Adapter # RM-035. You'll want to measure the thickness of your mounts to be sure though. view full answer...
Yes, going to a new lock/latch for your RV entry door like the part # 295-000019 will be a great solution. Your latch does sound like it's worn out or possibly damaged which is making it hard to use but this replacement will be easy to use and won't require constant lubrication. view full answer...
What you are dealing with is called hyperflashing. You will want to use the Load Resistor Kit for LED Turn Signals item # DI34ZR to fix it. LED lights don't draw as much power as incandescent lights so there are issues with fast flashing until a resistor is added. The resistor increases the amperage draw to resemble incandescent lights.
The resistors will install directly behind the turn signals. I don't know what you mean by four way flasher but you'll need one of these per turn signal... view full answer...
We have a selection of ceiling lights available for motorhomes in satin nickel, oil rubbed bronze, white and textured black; you can choose from incandescent or LED for energy savings. If current light is not LED I suggest consideration of changing.
Is it possible you need the Gustafson RV Ceiling Light w/ Bulb - Eyeball Style - Recessed Mount - Satin Nickel, # 277-000483 this has overall dimensions of 3-3/4" diameter x 3" deep and requires a 2" deep cutout.

The Bargman Triple Taillight 84 Series part # 47-84-009 is a 3-panel taillight that has a reverse light panel with a clear lens. To swap the reverse part out to LED you'd just need the part # CM93226.
If you are referring to the similar one in our reviews where the whole panel is clear we don't have that. view full answer...
I've spoken with some of the Tech folks with our hitch manufacturers who tell me that none of the available hitches for the Ford Transit will work with the T350HD cutaway chassis because of the changes made to the vehicle when the motorhome is added to the chassis.
Your best bet would be to remove the existing hitch and install a weld-on hitch designed for a service body truck like # 41990-07. The bumper reinforcement struts you spoke of are meant for loads hung from the bumper, not a... view full answer...
This is a great question and one that can cause some confusion. SumoSprings capacity is determined by how much weight it takes to compress the spring down to 50% of its original body height, so a spring like the # SSF-106-40 will compress down to half of it's unweighted height with 500-lbs of pressure. The # SSF-106-47 is going to be a stronger spring with it's 1000-lbs capacity. Keep in mind, these aren't designed to upgrade the GVWR, but they're designed to help cushion the load that... view full answer...
The 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern that the Kenda ST145R12 wheel and tire combo part # AM31206HWTB is by far the most common bolt pattern available. To verify this you can just measure from one bolt center to the bolt center of the one next to it. 2-5/8 inch is 5 on 4-1/2 inch. view full answer...
To determine if the Ultra-Fab Power Twin II Electric Stabilizer # UF39-941705 will fit your 2005 Coachmen Freelander you would need to go by the measurements of the system. This system will fit a frame spacing of 48 to 80 inches, That is measured from the outside of one frame rail to the outside of the other frame rail.
Assuming that your frame is within that range the next important measurement is the amount of free space on the frame in the desired location. The brackets on this system... view full answer...

Yes, SumoSprings will help to reduce the sag on your 2017 Coachmen Freelander 21RS on the E-450 Ford chassis. They do this by providing additional support to the suspension to prevent it from compressing as far and reducing sway when driving. I recommend the Solo Custom Helper Springs # SSF-106-47 for the front and Maxim Custom Helper Springs # SSR-106-47-1 for the rear. You will need to ensure you have 7 inches or more of clearance from the tire sidewall to the frame. The front springs... view full answer...
I recommend the Leveling Scissor Jack Set - 24" Lift - 10,000 lbs - QTY 2 # JSC-24 for your 2018 Coachmen Freelander Motorhome. These have a weight capacity of 5,000 lbs per jack and can be used to both level and stabilize your RV.
The # JSC-24 has up to 24" lift, so you will need to measure from the bottom of the frame on your RV to the ground to make sure that distance is less than 24". If you need a jack with more lift then I recommend the # JSC-30-IND instead since it has up to 30"... view full answer...

I recommend using the Advent Air Replacement RV Air Conditioner for Dometic Setup w/ Start Capacitor - 15,000 Btu - White # ACDOM150 which is a direct replacement for Dometic AC units and can be used with ducted or ductless systems. This is a 15,000 btu unit, so they're equivalent to the units you're replacing and will do a great job as a replacement. I also really like that these units have built in start capacitors to help make sure your units will always be able to start, even if the... view full answer...
